About the Project
A successful record suspension or pardon application will set aside an individual’s criminal record, such that it will be removed from the Canadian Police Information Centre (CPIC) database. This can help individuals with past criminal convictions have better access to educational and employment opportunities.
Under the supervision of our advising lawyers, law student caseworkers can assist in the completion of record suspension or pardon applications, and can help guide individuals through the process of submitting their applications to the Parole Board of Canada.
